Elisabeth 'Liddy' Godderis, missing since two days at her Brussels catering job, is found murdered at her home in Dilbeek (near Brussels). The killer changed the bed linen and washed her posthumously, in bath. Gardener Marcel Geeraerts, a former colleague and supervisor, saw leave her just-dumped young gigolo, truck-driver Alex Cools. Part of the team assumes he did it, others he's been set up, and indeed she had other admirers. Liddy's bachelor sole son André Godderis, in debt after a failed business she refused to invest in, is caught intruding the crime scene.

Serge Graulus and his girl rob fur-maker Isaac Bachmann's workshop at night in his home. When the old man catches him in the act, Serge wrestles his shotgun away and uses it on him, fatally. After the team arrests Alain Steinberg's contraband gang, caught selling the fenced furs, he tips them off so they can trap Serge, but he gets away. An at first sight unrelated jewel case leads to his girl-friend Petra.

Tibo Leemans breaks up with his lover and grows tired of unreliable Matti's constant failing and brooding over her dad and her own youth. Martin Baeten dies from a broken neck, apparently accidentally, in a jealous fight with her new fiancé, marketing consultant Steve Hoste, over Martin's ex, Mini Max supermarket chain HQ computer programmer Andrea Daniëls, on the Brussels street outside her home. The next day, someone breaks the seals at Martin's apartment. Russian mobster Vladimir Vasiliev is spotted lurking around. Andrea and Steve lie about their business connection and common med studies past.

While the BOB celebrate the departure of colleague Frans Van Lierde, a gruesome robbery with murder is committed on taxi driver Cyriel Stroobrants. He is the father of two kids. The BOB search in vain for the murderer. A small robbery in the neighborhood accelerates the investigation. It leads the investigators to a village teacher who seems to know more.

Hugo Platel is an entrepreneur who exports humanitarian goods for the European Commision to the far east. When a very professional burglary is committed in his villa, the BOB is asked for assistance. Hugo acts very nervous and soon after a high civil servant of the European Commision gets into big trouble. Then there is an unexpected next death...

During a robbery in the studio of the Anderlechtse jeweler Boumans, there is a shot fired. The bullet hits daughter Sonja in the eye and she is mutilated for life. One of the perpetrators gets out very soon after his conviction. The jeweler thinks the robber got out far to easy. He won't listen to the BOB and takes justice in his own hands.

Tamara Godon, a sixteen year old girl, stays a while in a pub with her boyfriend Franco after school. When she goes home, she goes alone. The next day she is found dead. Franco is arrested, but then there is a rather strange discovery in Tamara's room.

The renowned psychiatrist Oswald Nys has a very strange hobby: he tortures prostitutes who are delivered to him by nightclub owner Bellon. However this goes terribly wrong and the illegal Akkim dies. Another victim of Nys, Sylvie Van Dijck, who is a coke addict, threatens to tell the whole world and phones Matti to make an appointment. But she doesn't show and a night later she is found dead. The only starting point Matti has, is the name Akkim. For some strange reason Sylvie visited her father, Eric Van Dijck, the night she was murdered. She hasn't made contact with him in years. Why now?

Ex-con Marco Beckers kidnaps his son from kindergarten, because his ex-girlfriend Pascale refuses him any contact. Because of the quick intervention from Nauwelaert's team, they can avoid worse. Beckers states that Pascale's new friend, antiquarian Frison, is much more of a criminal then he is, but he was lucky never to get caught. Frison declares that the boy is his son. Beckers has evidence that Frison deals in stolen art and also swindles with his insurance. An unsolved murder dossier about a shifty Dutch art dealer also mentions Frison, but Marco denies knowing about it. Investigating Frison and Beckers., John learns that Marco gets his information from his former foreign legion instructor Stassart.

Juan promised his two good friends Noel and Roger a very big deal, but can't keep his promise. He has stolen the car from a certain Patrick Mariman and pulled the car totally apart, but couldn't find anything. He tries to sell the car back to Mariman, but the transaction doesn't go well and he gets shot. In the beginning the trail leads to Juans friends, but it seems that Juan worked at Mariman's golf club and was fired after a theft. He got that job thanks to Mariman's wife and two social workers, Michel Jacobs and Ria Maes. The incident of the theft was settled amicably. Mariman also gave 50.000 frank to Jacob's community center.

Alain De Croes shoots a shop assistant during a failed robbery. When he flees he also shoots 16 year old Dennis Verdonck, because he thought the boy saw his license plate. The only witness is his friend, the 14 year old Nico Van Ham, who is deaf, so his interrogation is very difficult. The police demands help from Nadia Gillis-Barez, Nico's sign language interpreter and ex-teacher. Despite the lack of communication, Matti and Tibo find out the boy is lying, because his story keeps changing. Apparently their friend Sarah also has something to do with it. In the mean time Reggie searches for the robbers gray Escort in the midst of all the cars in Brussels. Thanks to his minute research he can shorten the list severely.

Criminals Jos Van Mierlo and Danny Borré plan a robbery. Danny's mother Irma "Printemps" Lentedecker, a former diva from the Folies Bergères, has a relationship with Gustaaf Peeters. He has a job with an exchange office. Nobody suspects that this old, silly guy, who walks his dog daily, has a few million in his bag. Except for Mierlo and Borré. Borré could use that money very well, because he has a debt with some Moroccan loan sharks. They need a getaway car and plan to steal one from the parking of the Kinepolis. And from all the cars they could steal, they steal the car from the son of the attorney general. Bad move!

Nina Heylen has car trouble at night and gets raped in a dark alley and murdered afterward. The forensic team find traces of building material on her body. But finding clues at a building site is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Underneath Nina's body a tank card is found. This is the property of Nicole Callens, an editor of a woman's magazine. Her boyfriend René Stevens, who is unemployed, is known by the police as an aggressive drunkard. Nicole lies when she says her friend never uses her car. But is this evidence he is involved in the rape?

The gangster Arnold Somville escapes from prison. His cell mate, junkie Dirk Van Hout, tells the police he might have shot his mouth off against Somville. Dirk's parents have a luxurious boutique in the Louisalaan and they have Canadian obligates, worth 3 million Franks, at home for grabs. Tibo, who is a regular customer there, warns Arthur Van Hout, but he can't arrange police protection, which pisses Arthur off very much. To be safe, he brings his obligates to the bank. That same night Somville pays him a visit and when there is nothing to steal, he shoots down Arthur. The attorney general, a personal friend of the Van Houtens, furiously blames Snoeckx, because he knew there was something going down and he did nothing.

5. Episode 15

The two not too bright second hand car dealers Paul Antonis and Marc De Laet, try to earn some extra money by selling paintings in the showroom. They do earn a little extra now and again, but no so much as Paul spend on his mistress Rita Coppens just before he gets murdered. At the scene of the crime John sees "Het Baronneke", Clément Goeminne. He's a spiv who lies and cheats people of their money all of his life. John believes that if he's in the neighborhood, he must have something to do with the murder. No matter how charming he may sell him self.

Joel Mattijsen breaks in at his former employer, remembering a million is kept there in a safe. But Hugo De Pauw, the night watchman, shoots Joel. An anonymous witness, a man from a couple who made love on a car park, saw a white car driving away very fast. This confirms the testimony from De Pauw and explains why the bag with the million has disappeared. Frank, the son of Mattijsen, has exactly the same white car as seen at the car park. Besides that, De Pauw lied about the fact he knew Mattijsen from the past.

For Tibo and Nadia it gets tricky when they witness an accident. The little boy is hurt very badly and the car didn't stop. With their statement Nadia's husband will know they have an affair. So it's time to come clean and tell him. The driver of the car had just been involved in a robbery on the pensioned wine merchant Raymond Kronenbergs. His son André tries everything to minimize the robbery. He doesn't want the police to poke around in their incestuous family. But that gets difficult when one of the stolen check's is used in the local supermarket and with the robot photo looking exactly like grandson Filip.

Doris De Caluwé works at an express delivery company. She is caught in the act when she holds back packages with expensive contents. At her home they find mostly jewels, but there is also a package for the undertakers firm of Arnold and Chris Van Beek. Between two panels the police find a rather big stash of heroin. After questioning it seems that Chris is put under pressure by Patrick Lemoine, an underworld figure. Chris has to pay off his gambling debts by drug running. In return for a reduced sentence he agrees to help getting the big guys of the gang. But it totally goes wrong. In the mean time Matti feels sorry for Doris, because Doris stole to pay for a breast prosthetic. She lost one due to breast cancer. But is such a compassion justified?

All of rural Dworp is upset to hear blue collar Raf Cauwenberghs's soccer-gifted son Kevin (11) went missing during a late wood run after group practice with coach Roger Poelaert. As if the locals' hostility against 'impertinent, lazy' federal cops weren't bad enough, the three involved police departments bicker amongst themselves. The captain puts John in charge as he wife is about to give birth. The team discovers the coach's adolescent son Patrick deals in stolen motorbikes. Gay teacher Peter Fonteyne tutored Kevin, according to unsubstantiated rumors with pedophile abuse. the crowd turns on him when Kevin's corps is found by his uncle-godfather Maurice Cauwenberghs in the part of the wood indicated by a 'medium'.

[Continues the previous episode] Lt. Capelle takes formula command of the team since the captain takes paternity leave. Gay teacher Peter Fonteyne's dubious alibi seems completely compromised after his Brussels lover Guido Pauwels declares they broke op weeks ago, but the painstaking chase of male prostitute Zoran establishes it to be trough. Forensics on Kevin's corps found traces of oxidation and protective paint, steroids doping and muscular injuries gravely questioning his athletic future. The soccer league actually reveals they notified coach Poelart, who admits he made a financial deal with pa Raf, Kevin called to refuse any recruitment. .

An anonymous inquiry for it starts the team's hunt for the ruthless Yugoslavian human traffickers, who sell often stolen children for adoption. Ambiguous parts are played by would be-parents and naive idealist Claude Adams. The case also allowed the new CO, Luitenant Gino Capellen, to introduce undercover cop Kristien Rosier while veteran Sylvain is incapacitated by multiple leg-injuries.

A woman found strangled in a Brussels furniture shop stockroom is identified as an ex-employed rural housewife, reported missing by her husband, Rudy Burgraeve. He refuses to question her whereabouts, even when forensics finds proof she recently had sex and a champagne dinner. Her shopping buddy Marleen De Kimpe helps the team digging into family secrets, and turns out to have been her 'colleague' in Etienne Helon's escort service. Finally son Benny, a law-student living generously in a Brussels apartment, features in more surprises.

3. Episode 23

Captain Capellen's attempt to divide the old team nearly succeeds in breaking up gay Willy Martens and his straight partner Reggie Bax. Matti Tomassetti is jealous when she realizes her husband, car salesman Vic, spends time networking at parties with his boss's sexy friends Wim and Yolande Zimmerman. When Wim is reported missing and the corps in his burnt-out car carries his papers, Matti's suspicions and illegal 'tenacity' arouse major procedure problems. Retired dog act circus artist Richardke's refusal to testify what he saw is key to this case and a related next crime.

Brussels antique-dealer Fischer cries for help after being robbed by two masked men. Willy and Reggie arrive in time to start a gunfight, but can't arrest either robber. The captain uses this as another excuse to side-track the gay detective in therapy and sharpshooting training. Passerby Tom Duprez, who tried to help Fisher, was coldly shot dead by Guy Renquin, who later terminates his junior Eddy, who got wounded badly but is denied medical help. Dodgy former P.I. André Lamotte saw everything, finds the fence and demands a hefty informer's free from the police. Tom's pa, rich lawyer Duprez, uses his connections to breath in the team's neck and pays André, who is found executed the next day. The team can only connect Lamote with pregnant prostitute Claudine Delcroix, who proves as dumb and mean.

5. Episode 25

Ex-con Luc Paulus firmly resents any comment from her teacher Hilde De Bont about his good-for-nothing daughter Katrien's alcohol abuse and other oddities such as lots of cash. Tibo resisted his lover Nadia's saucily abusive demand to abuse police authority to lean on Paulus. Shortly after, his skull is smashed fatally. The team suspects former jail-mate Martin Coopman, now his partner in a window cleaning business, who actually fired him recently. Then they discover family and intimate secrets, yielding more suspects to be eliminated by alibi or forensics.

Reputable lawyer Piron and his junior apprentice Struye competently win a case by exposing arrogant detective John's procedural errors. The next night, Struye is murdered at a crime scene. The prosecutor wisely guards the delicate case's ethics and invites the bar association's chief to supervise the confidentiality aspects. The team discovers various tensions within the law firm, such as the secretary having switched lovers to Strye from the junior partner Claes, and Piron's own possibly dodgy past.

Electrician Eddy Vosberg is found hanging, a poorly staged 'suicide'. The team soon realizes he ran up crushing debts as a compulsive gambler. His family knew, but it's unclear how they tried to square loyalty with the interests of the family electric appliances business.

During a drug trade stake-out, Willy and Reggie mess up again during improvised urination but accidentally discover the corpse of retired cinema usher Agnes. She was shot with a Word War II gun. She was the never accepted daughter of a soldier and a posh Brussels family's matriarch who never even tolerated her name. Yet the team works out several members knew about her and/or had contact. Facsism-sympathetic antiquarian Dieter van Hoeck competently researched her past and proved her pa wasn't a Canadian liberation soldier but a Nazi subaltern during the occupation. Finally Agnes had a turbulent, kinky-secretive love-life.

(Part 1 of 2) Old veterinarian Urbain Van Overbeke, one of the most influential men is his Brabant cattle village, is murdered and dumped in a canal, expertly cut into pieces with professional equipment. Young vet Frank Leuridon was after Urbain's clientèle and is rumored to have an affair with his daughter Dominique. Farmer Ronnie Ceulemans threatened publicly to kill him for officially disapproving his cattle, which he administered illegal hormones supplied by Frank, who insists they are health-safe. Ronie poisoned Urbain's horses with laurel in the night of the murder.

When all the carved-up parts of Van Overbeke's corps are finally found, the autopsy mysteriously shows no violent or other specific cause for his fatal heart failure. The team discovers Frank Leuridon had an adulterous mistress but still no alibi. Her alcoholic husband MD Weyns's violent reaction gets Tibo injected with a fast-working and -broken-down poison, which fits the autopsy. Van Overbeke's private life proves relevantly sanctimonious.

After local singer David De Preter's Mexican Indian souvenir machete is found in a field and identified as murder weapon, he admits he found Kurt murdered, again drunk. Youth center barman Jeroen Pauwels is caught during a nightly attempt to steal his hidden diary, which contains enough dirt, mainly coded, to blackmail nearly all Grimbergen VIPS. Among them Kurt's boss, the alderman, Joke's cahoot Bernadette's father, whose family was never thoroughly investigated after the suspicious suicide of an in-living girl.
